Our Sustainability Journey
Our Sustainability journey
Our commitment: integrated and continuous reporting
Pink Frogs Cosmetics began its sustainability journey in 2009. If the choice in those years seemed a pioneering path, today it proves to be an important investment, a guarantee of responsibility and solidity. The journey continues, toward constant improvement of our environmental, social and economic performance aimed at creating value over time for the company and its stakeholders.
This platform is a reflection of our journey and is periodically updated to reflect our progress in pursuing increasingly responsible business management.

Letter to Stakeholders
Dear Stakeholders,
I am pleased to present you our most recent Sustainability Report, a document that attests our ongoing commitment to sustainability and corporate well-being. Over the past two years, profound global and local changes have redefined the context in which we operate, highlighting the critical importance of sustainability as a key guide to navigating through turbulence and pursuing long-term success.
The adoption of the Società Benefit model by Pink Frogs represents the pinnacle of our long-standing commitment to generating a positive impact not only on our operations, but also on the community and the surrounding environment. By formalizing the sustainable practices we have always embraced, this step allows us to recognize and celebrate the successes we have achieved in our company’s journey.
Looking ahead, Pink Frogs is on a growth path and we have ambitious plans for our development. We will continue to invest in continuing training and the development of our human capital, because we firmly believe that people are at the center of our success. We also maintain our commitment to environmental protection, with initiatives aimed at reducing our ecological footprint, promoting responsible resource consumption, and contributing to the fight against climate change.
Through this Report, not only do we document our successes on this journey, but we celebrate them as crucial milestones in our corporate journey.
My wish and goal for the coming years is to continue to guide Pink Frogs toward a sustainable and responsible future in which we can be a virtuous example for future generations.

MATERIALITY ANALYSIS
MATERIALITY ANALYSIS
The choice of our priority themes stems from a process inspired by the new European Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the concept of double materiality.
After listening to our stakeholders, we analyzed the impacts of our organization on society and the environment, as well as the economic risks and opportunities related to ESG issues (IRO Analysis).
This process allowed us to identify and rank priority topics into three levels of significance. The top issues were then integrated into a medium-term action plan.
This plan is the foundation of our sustainability strategy, guiding our actions and defining our goals for the coming period.

Environmental Projects
Circular Beauty
Our “Circular Beauty” project, born in early 2021, in the midst of a health and economic emergency, is envisioned as a virtuous circle of Cosmetics, a string of sustainable supply chains to give new life to products that are often unfortunately set aside for various logics not dependent on quality and safety, and that could become something beautiful again.
Film To Film
Starting in 2021, we are proud to actively participate in the RE.WIND project. This consists of collecting stretch and/or shrink film from incoming goods. We carefully remove labels and foreign objects, then proceed by pressing the film. The pressed material goes through a F2F (FILM to FILM) recycling process and returns to us in the form of new reels.
So far, through this effort, we have contributed to the recycling of about 2,000 kg of film, reducing raw material consumption and disposal costs.
Finora, grazie a questo impegno, abbiamo contribuito al riciclo di circa 2.000 kg di film, riducendo i consumi di materie prime e i costi di smaltimento.
Circular Beauty
Our “Circular Beauty” project, born in early 2021, in the midst of a health and economic emergency, is a special initiative because it encompasses commitments from the three areas of Corporate Social Responsibility:
Social responsibility
Donations to Non-Profit Associations
Environmental responsibility
“Zero waste” through the reprocessing of materials
Economic responsibility
Circular economy and supply chain collaboration
The virtuous circle of “Circular Beauty”: how it works
Each “Circular Beauty” project starts from a need and arrives at a donation, passing through donations and solidarity strings, and starts again

Social Projects
Banca del Tempo Sociale
Banca del Tempo Socialde is an initiative of “I Bambini delle Fate” that aims to offer children with autism and disabilities opportunities for inclusion, and high school students (16/20 years old) the positive experience of approaching the world of social work in an organized structure.
The social inclusion project takes place at the Il Balzo Social Cooperative in Rozzano (MI).
La Forza e Il Sorriso
Since 2019 Pink Frogs has adhered, as a Supporter, to the activities of “La Forza e il Sorriso Onlus,” an association sponsored by Cosmetica Italia, which is an integral part of the international group Look Good Feel Better promoter of the initiative in as many as 27 countries around the world.
La Forza e il Sorriso Onlus promotes beauty workshops for women undergoing cancer treatment at hospitals and associations throughout Italy.
Noi Con Voi
In 2019 Pink Frogs participated in the “Noi Con Voi” project promoted by the Department of Social Services of the Municipality of Rozzano. Our sponsorship, together with that of other companies in the area, enabled the loan for use of a vehicle intended for social activities of the municipality.
In 2023, the renewal of our contribution, together with those of the other supporting companies, allowed the Rozzano municipality to entrust a new vehicle to the Auser Sempreverdi volunteers who provide transportation for the elderly and people with disabilities in the area and the Humanitas shuttle.
Banca del Tempo Sociale
Always sensitive to social commitment, we strongly believed in this initiative that we became its main promoter by also involving our stakeholders in its realization.
Since a fundamental pillar of CSR is giving back to the territory where the company operates, we have identified here in Rozzano the Cooperative Il Balzo (which for years has been involved in assisting children and young people with disabilities), which is following the project with dedicated operators.
It is the first Banca del tempo Sociale initiative in Milan and Province.
The program involves 10 kids with autism and 30 high school kids having an important experience, dedicating time to each other in an organized and structured way, (in presence and through digital media) and being able to experience those emotions and feelings that are normal in the life of a teenager, but extremely difficult if not nonexistent in the case of kids with disabilities.
For this commitment they receive vouchers for the purchase of books and sporting goods, and there is also the recognition of educational credits and, for the most deserving, scholarships are awarded.
Through engaging activities such as reading, cooking and art, an environment of inclusion and friendship is fostered. With the support of tutors, children learn empathy and understanding, which are fundamental to building meaningful relationships.
This project not only promotes socialization, but also personal growth and the formation of authentic and lasting bonds.

Becoming Società Benefit
On December 1, 2022, the Pink Frogs S.r.l. Shareholders’ Meeting decided to change its corporate name to Pink Frogs Cosmetics S.r.l. Società Benefit, thus also formalizing in the bylaws its commitment to the pursuit of purposes of common benefit in the exercise of its economic activity.
Ethics Committee
Established in 2018, it is responsible for representing all categories of workers in the company. It meets periodically to share company issues, propose solutions and then report them to management.
Its duties include ensuring compliance with the company’s Code of Ethics and promoting Pink Frogs Cosmetics’ values among employees.
Reporting sustainability over the years
The desire to show other companies all that a small company can do regarding sustainability led us in 2017 to create our first sustainability report. In 2018, our second sustainability report led us to be the first Italian cosmetics company to produce a GRI-certified sustainability report. Since then, sustainability reporting remains a crucial part of our corporate communication.
Reporting sustainability over the years
Our commitment to sustainability was first told in 2017 through our first Sustainability Report.

Initiatives
For years, Pink Frogs has been supporting "Open Doors for School" project, under which it hosts students from high schools and universities to illustrate production processes in the cosmetics industry.
Open Doors to Schools
In the break area, there are three benches, each with a color representing a message of solidarity: one blue bench to raise awareness of autism, one with the colors of the rainbow in support of gender diversity and against homophobia, and a red one, symbolizing the rejection of violence against women.
Solidarity benches
In collaboration with Vetronaviglio, during Milan Beauty Week 2023, we supported fundraising for La Forza e il Sorriso, a non-profit organization that organizes beauty workshops for women undergoing cancer treatment, with our Bi-phase Face and Eye Makeup Remover.
Supporting Beauty Gives Back
In collaboration with Randstad and Forma.temp, we promote a free training course that amplifies the employability of participants through an 80-hour training on the production and use of cosmetic machinery, at the end of which, 50 % of the participants are hired with an outsourcing contract.
Pink Academy
To encourage mutual knowledge among colleagues and promote team spirit, Pink Building days allow people from different departments to share experiences and skills, diving into each other's daily work to discover the importance of each role and understand how everyone's contribution affects collective success.
Pink Building
During the Milano Beauty Week 2024, we donated 2,000 pieces of our Oil to Milk Micellar Makeup Remover to support the Beauty Gives Back fundraising event to benefit La forza e il sorriso Onlus, committed to providing free beauty workshops for women undergoing cancer treatment.
